Dentures
What are dentures?
Dentures are a removable appliance made from a strong acrylic material with or without metal. Modern dentures are esthetically pleasing and functional. Ensuring you are able to enjoy your life with confidence. Whether you have one missing tooth or all of your teeth, a denture can be designed to improve your chewing, talking, and smiling.
What Causes Tooth Loss?
Tooth loss can occur due to a variety of reasons such as poor hygiene leading to gum disease and cavities, an injury, or uncontrolled diseases (such as diabetes). We aim to first identify the problem that resulted in tooth loss to ensure we provide the best plan for moving forward.

Needing a New Denture?
When an older denture has become loose, there are several options to improve functionality. In some cases, the existing denture can be relined to improve fit. In other cases, a new denture is needed to account for the additional bone loss and changes in soft tissue. If your denture is not staying in, but is adapted well, adding implants can provide retention by having the denture “snap onto” the implant.
